School is back in session which means we have to start thinking about a more structured beauty routine…. we have a little “do and don’t” list for you.
DO condition your hair with a mask once a week!
Summer time was filled with days in the sun and most likely a pool day or two- which means your hair is fried from all that sun and chemical exposure- give it a little love.
DON’T squeeze those new school stress pimples
Get a good cleaner, an extracting tool, some Persagel or something with some acids in it and come at them with a more gentle approach.
A good exfoliating cleanswer will absolutely remove any dead skin cells and make way for healthier ones. Scrubs are the best way to go when you’re trying to keep your skin fresh.
DON’T overdo it on the makeup
You were most likely pretty natural over the summer, so do not shock your skin with a 5 layer dip of makeup. Ease back into playing with makeup styles.
DO a whitening treatment
Charcoal brushes, Crest Whitestrips, or a legit whitening system will do the trick. Make sure you schedule time with your dentist to clean away any of that summer sugar.
DON’T stay up late
Studying is in your horizon soon, but try and get the best sleep you possibly can. I know it is tempting to get things done in the late night hours, after a full day, but try and maintain that 6-8 hour a night schedule you worked so hard to be on during the summer. We all know there is nothing less de-puffing than a good night’s sleep.
DO clean out all brushes
By cleaning your brushes, you can get rid of any bacteria, oil, or makeup build up that might cause your skin to break out. Use a brush cleaner or just some good antibacterial soap and water. Your skin will thank you for it later.
Definitely do not forget to get your lashes and brows touched up and looking fresh and clean for the Fall! We can’t wait to see you!
